I get this error unless I start the non-skinned version. However, I get the "error during player initialization" message when using the non-skinned version.

Exactly the same problem "Unable to Replace Image" with skinned and "error during player initialization" with non-skinned.
Tried deleting all plugins and portable latest install.
No joy. Any ideas what to try next?

Updated Apple iTunes and Quicktime. NO changes to mediamonkey but I now have a new error :-(
"Error during creation of main window"

I was having the same problem. I tried reinstalling to no avail. I finally gave up and looked for another product. As part of its install I needed to reboot. My PC had been running for several days since the last boot. After rebooting I decided to try opening MediaMonkey one more time. I reinstalled it and it launched OK!

Hope this helps.

Yeah, it's kinda the same for me. I get this same problem, and it seems to go away after a reboot. Then it comes back again at some unknown but near time in the future.

I suggest you send a debug log (step 4b) to support so the developers get more details about this issue: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69

Reference this topic and the following when submitting the log to support: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=9255

Well, it works after after a reboot, so i'm not sure what a debug log would do as the bug is not consistent.

If it starts again I will try to make a debug log.

A debug log would be very useful if it captures the error, especially as it isn't consistently reproducible.

What part of 'it works after a reboot' do you not understand?

I guess you didn't read what I wrote very well. Check the Mantis entry and you'll see that without a debug log nothing much can be done. So whomever can capture this in a debug log should send the log to support so this can get fixed.

How many times are you going to repeat yourself?

Until people stop complaining about this or someone sends in a log.

What you perceive as complaining is simply a user confirming that a certain bug/issue/problem is happening to them. This lets people know that it is not just an isolated problem on one user's end. It suggests that there is some problem with either the software itself or a critical collision with other software.

It is not a complaint. It isn't formatted as a complaint. There is no question attached. It is just simply stating a fact.

You are well aware that I am a long-time user of the program, that I have helped lots of other users with problems, have helped in testing fixes and beta-testing, even to the point of directly communicating with several developers. You also know that I will just send a debug log to help fix the problem if I can.

Both you and Lowlander are in the extremely annoying habit of alternating between being helpful and just simply behaving like enormous condescending asses. There is no need for mods to repeat themselves 3 times demanding a debug log when the user in question has already plainly explained that the issue went away with a reboot and that he will send a debug log if the issue presents itself again. It is just utterly ridiculous and insulting.

If you cannot help out then simply shut up. Don't post in every thread with the same old bullshit every time. There is really no need.

Both of you have a tremendous knowledge of this software, however both of you are absolutely completely unfit as mods of this forum.
