Maybe the topic has been covered, but I was wondering if you could add bitmap support to the script?

I'm using a Sansa with rockbox and I need bitmap album art.

Thanks Trix!

As far as I'm aware this script supports all the file types that MM does. Or at least, all the ones that the scripting helpfile says it does! :)

Are you using the correct installer for the correct version? What error message did you get in MM3?

Trixmoto:

A user ran into trouble while using AT in this post, can you look at it to see if there is a way to help him/her save his/her database?

- Fixed attempting to delete files without checking they exist
- Moved temporary confirmation file to windows temporary directory
- Fixed references to Script.ScriptPath have been removed
- Added option to show toolbar button
- Added image type option to process 9

Trixmoto, as you may know I was having problems with my MediaMonkey configuration. I have been able to resolve it, and with the help of your script, I have been able to clean up my library back to the way it was.

Thank you very much for your hard work on this script. It truly is a time saver!

Hey Nyn,

I reinstalled MediaMonkey and disabled the File Monitor to run on startup. Seems to work quite stably. And version 4.1 of the Album Art Tagger let me remove all of the artwork except the first image (option 8 i think?) relatively quickly and all in one shot (~1500 songs)

Thanks for your help :)

I think there is an unnecessary database update and write tags when extracting artwork with no delete?

Object required error

Post by dt3kt »

I keep getting an error when processing this script on both single and multiple files. I'm using the tag -> mask, Option 1 with the Extract original ticked at 100%. Here is the error it generates:

Code: Select all

Error #424 - Microsoft VBScript runtime error
Object required: 'SDB.Objects(...)'
File:"C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\AlbumArtTagger_v4.1.vbs", Line: 594, Column: 2
I renamed the installed file to match the version number (easier way for me to keep track of installed script versions), and this name change is reflected in the scripts.ini file as well. I renamed the .vbs file back to the original name and made the same change in scripts.ini and this error still occurs.

Any ideas?[/code]

@dt3kt - you need to make sure that "AAT-Auto.vbs" is in the "Scripts\Auto" folder and you'll need to amend line 18 to match your new filename.

@MoDementia - oh yes, it doesn't always need to update, good point - I'll get this sorted in the next version! :)

Is there a way to extract all the artwork from a track, not just the first image?
