Yeah, but that's a beta, not the latest stable version. Its already been stated that that version is incompatible with the embedder in this thread - you'll have to stick with 5.7.3418 for now if you want it to be compatible with the embedder.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the embedder.

still nothing.. even tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling

I seemed to have fixed the issue with embedding minilyrics and the "MSVCR71.dll was not found" error. I did a search on my hard drive for the dll. I found a couple different versions of it. I copied one and pasted it into my windows\system32 folder and the installer worked great.

Hope this helps. I am glad to have minilyrics embedded - it is much better this way.

MiniLyrics could'nt embedded. Possibly its window, or the embedder window, isn't visible.

Ive uninstalled the MiniLyrics app (not the embedder) and the folder from Application Data and restarted MM. no luck. I changed the .vbs file to change the variable from 20 to 200. no luck.

Im losing my mind as Im usually pretty good at solving these issues myself. Ive tried many variations of uninstall/install. Im also running Vista Business x64bit.

The embedder doesn't work with the beta version of Minilyrics, instead install version 5.7.3418.

New beta2 6.0.3671 works with the embedder but the new skins don't work

So far everything else is ok, even floating lyrics

How did you get it to embed? I can't get the window to embed even after changing the skin and restarting both.

Maybe the other server hasn't been updated? The page still has the old number 6.0.3642 beta2 on it

Ah, you're right - the link above provides version 6.0.3671 which works well with the embedder. Thanks!

6.0.3672 released fixes the background colour problem http://www.crintsoft.com/download/minilyrics6.exe

The new skins are partially transparent they will never work in the panel
