Monkey Rok 6.2 - Updated 06/07/2014
Re: Monkey Rok 5.3 - Updated 27/06/2010
@danasince1979 - I'm sorry I can't replicate this, but I'll see what I can come up with.
@martialartsguy - that option is totally unrelated to this script so can have no affect on whether or not that stars appear. If you are getting red crosses it is because the skin you have selected in MM is not working properly - which one is it?

Trix,
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I've not changed my skin in years - I have the "Blue Glass" one selected, but usually override with the option I mentioned before. Since upgrading to MonkeyRock 5.3, I noticed the red Xs, but they never happened in earlier versions.

Which skin have you selected on the MonkeyRok settings?

"basic"
EDIT: OK, I changed it to "classic" and now it looks somewhat like what it did, sans the big red Xs. Thanks Trix!

"Basic" is one of the old 4.x skins which should have been removed when you uninstalled 4.x before installing 5.x.

True, old skins are removed, but empty directories still exists. The problem is there's no way of deleting a directory with the Packaging Script. Empty skins directories are still listed in MR' skin choices.trixmoto wrote:"Basic" is one of the old 4.x skins which should have been removed when you uninstalled 4.x before installing 5.x.

Noticed new lines are removed from comments. Should be formatted same as Lyrics/Comments panels.

@Eyal - I'll try to ignore empty folders in the next version.
@Owyn - I'll fix the formatting in the next version, probably a copy/paste error on my part.

MonkeyRok Displaying Filtered Tracks
I have tracks showing up in the "Albums By Artist" section that are filtered out.
They do not appear in the MediaMonkey Library (except when searching Entire Library which seems to bypass filters).
Do I need to change a setting to get MonkeyRok to only display what I have my filters set to?

Re: Monkey Rok 5.3 - Updated 27/06/2010
Currently I don't apply the active filter at all in this script, except if you have the "only include filtered tracks in the statistics" and this speaks for itself. I could add an option to filter everything, but I'd be a bit worried about performance. I'll try it out if you'd like though?

Re: Monkey Rok 5.3 - Updated 27/06/2010
Minor nitpick here: Is there a way to include autoplaylists into the playlists field?
Re: Monkey Rok 5.3 - Updated 27/06/2010
There's no way to include autoplaylists as the link does go from track to autoplaylists but only from autoplaylists to track. If there was a way to get the SQL command for an autoplaylist (which there isn't) then it would be possible to build a list of track IDs and then loop through to see if the current ID is in there, but this would be very inefficient.

Song Information Panel script can list autoplaylists, but it is indeed very slow.

If you think it wouldn't affect performance too much, then it would be great.trixmoto wrote:Currently I don't apply the active filter at all in this script, except if you have the "only include filtered tracks in the statistics" and this speaks for itself. For some reason I always thought that MonkRok reflected what was showing in the MediaMonkey Library, but from your reply, it sounds like that is not the case when you use filters.
Re: Monkey Rok 5.3 - Updated 27/06/2010
I will take a look at both these suggestions in the next version.
