My guess is that when Jiri says "a few days" that he probably isn't using a calendar.

I have waited this long. I can wait until it's right.

Unfortunately no. :-( We are still trying to resolve one issue, which is probably the last one before being able to implement it all correctly. However, it's hard to make any estimate re. time needed.

5.1 is likely coming with the new iPad 3. We'll have to go through this again.

Why?

There have been countless minor updates to IOS4 that haven't caused any issues. I very much doubt that there will be such large changes in 5.1 (compared to 5.01) that it will affect the fix they are already working on.

This is a full point update. Many of the iOS4 updates were indeed fractional minor updates. But last time, I think I remember 4.2 to 4.3 broke compatibility. Although I don't remember any of it taking this long to fix. This is a first.

By default iOS updates break MM compatibility as it is limited to the current and past releases. Sometimes it only requires an update allowing the new iOS version, sometimes it requires more work to regain compatibility. Point updates can break functionality, but tend to be easier to fix for third party developers.

Well 5.1 is out today, just like I suspected. What will you do now?

Still not even a beta fix for the ios 5 issue? Is it time to just give up the the MM devs will find a solution? Last we heard they were close like "a couple of days". What happened?

Yeah, this kinda crap from Apple is BS. If they release software that should provide an API that allows people to use the interface. This is one reason why I may get a droid next.

Hello MM Devs...I am also wondering what the status is with the sync? I am buying an iphone in a few days and am wondering if MM will sync with my phone.

Thanks

No, it was supposed to be soon, but it seems they're having more trouble than anticipated (and probably need to redo some due to 5.1).
