Well there's no option to delete the first image, I don't think. Are both images the same in terms of location (tag/link), type (front/back/...) and size? The other alternative, if your artwork is all in the album folders, would be to use my script to remove all of the artwork. Then if you add/rescan all your music files in MM it should automatically reassign your artwork. My script can also help you start from scratch if your images are in an organised path.

Thanks for the timely response
The Image 1 for all my albums has nothing set, but the Image 2's have a 'Cover: (front)' on them
I know I can remove all artwork and start again but to do that would take up another 2 days and I was hoping I could find a quicker way of sorting it without removing all the artwork it's already found but just stored as the wrong image before my holiday tomorrow
Thank you anyway for your help trix, love the scripts :)

Hmmm, not sure if my script can cope with this situation then, sorry.

Hello I am getting "Product Installation Error" when I try to install this script.

Please see my post on why I desperately needed this script:

Hello,

I've found out that mediamonkey is a superb program in combination with album tagger to tag all my mp3 files. However if I use this function albumart is saved in the folder where the mp3 file is. Is there an option to embed it IN my mp3 files? I probably missed out a setting. Thanks in advance and keep up the good working.

Welcome.
Yes, that is option number 2. Embed artwork. Copy from mask to tag. That will allow you to extract the album art from the specified folder and embed it directly into the mp3 tag.

I hope that helps.

I believe I have found a bug in the script. When using option 11 to embed artwork into tags and "Delete image files" is selected it tags the first file in the album, deletes the artwork from the disk and the remaining tracks on the album go without artwork being embedded. It should probably wait to delete the artwork file from disk until the tagging process is complete for the entire album. Great script though, very useful. Thank you for all your hard work.

Yeah, I guess the problem is that there's no way for the script to know that the tagging has been completed. I might have to remove the delete file option in the next version, or make it a separate process maybe.

Cool Thanks!
Unfortunately your download link is not working at your website.

Edit: Oh, it is working fine in Firefox, but not in Chrome. I think I recently updated to the newest dev build of Chrome so that is probably what is causing the problem. :-?

Hmm... That's weird. When I click on "download now" from within Chrome 8.0.552.0 dev build, I get this message: "This webpage is not available. The webpage at http://trixmoto.net/mm/go.php?f=AlbumArtTagger48.mmip might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address." And this is the actual error code it gives:

Code: Select all

Error 346 (net::ERR_RESPONSE_HEADERS_MULTIPLE_CONTENT_LENGTH): Unknown error
But the same link works fine in Firefox.
I don't know....

Might be a bug in Chrome then, but I'll check it out.
