Monkey Rok 6.2 - Updated 06/07/2014
Re: Monkey Rok 5.5 - Updated 06/12/2010
Trix, there's still some memory problems in MonkeyRok. MediaMonkey.exe's RAM usage grows by about 3 MB each time the track changes.

nope... no changes with different skins. it only shows the loading sign instead of the red cross.
it happens to similar artists also...
@dreadm: can you check it with your songbird skin if it happens to you also?

@nynaevelan - right click on Command Prompt (cmd.exe), select "Run as administrator" and then run "regsvr32 %windir%\XMD5.dll".
@heartofhate - you don't get either of these problems in 5.4?
@Eyal - thanks! You shouldn't need a Last.Fm account to access either of those - I'll have a look. If there are two many menu items for the menu to display down then it displays up instead - this basically means that you have too many skins to display the menu properly.
@DreadM - thanks!
@fizzjob - really? I left it running for 3 hours and the memory had barely gone up at all. Is anyone else suffering from this?

I hate to complain now that I got Last.Fm working, but my system seems to lock up when changing tracks, it takes several seconds to a minute before I can take any action in MM.

Dypsis: These exact instructions didn't work for me. I had to detail to the mediamonkey scripts directory where the file was and then run "regsvr32 XMD5.dll".dypsis wrote:C:\Windows\xmd5.dll failed to load.trixmoto wrote:@nynaevelan - right click on Command Prompt (cmd.exe), select "Run as administrator" and then run "regsvr32 %windir%\XMD5.dll".

@nynaevelan - well it does do a number of posts to Last.Fm to get all the loved tracks - how many loved tracks do you have?
@Eyal - if you want to switch between them with the menu, you should probably delete all the ones you're not using, yes.
@heartofhate - well I've not changed how either of them work, so that's odd, but I'll take a look.
@dypsis - the script attempts to copy the XMD5.dll file to the Windows directory first, so you can either do that manually too, or register the file where it is in the Script directory.

I only have a little over 200, but I guess I will have to get used to the delays because this is one feature I plan to use often.trixmoto wrote:@nynaevelan - well it does do a number of posts to Last.Fm to get all the loved tracks - how many loved tracks do you have?

Re: Monkey Rok 5.5 - Updated 06/12/2010
I've got exact the same problems as both nynaevalan and heartofhate in 5.5.
- With the love-track funtionality MM freezes about 30 seconds and sometimes the love-button doesn't show up at all after the delay.
- I got the red X with similar artist and top tracks
- The video panel only shows "more information" and a black line at the left. But this issue also existed in version 5.4.
grtz

I already tried navigating to the Scripts directory in the command prompt and applying it there, but no luck.nynaevelan wrote:Dypsis: These exact instructions didn't work for me.
