I'm posting this again as I'm sure I'm not the only one with the issue...(see my previous posts for more details)

Songs from my Iphone will not show up after a while in MM. Thought it was due to a sync with Itunes but not sure anymore...
Am I really the only who consistently get this issue?

BTW I'm running WIn7 RC
I tried with Foobar just to see how theirs is working and no problem seeing my songs with it.

I've taken the attitude of not starting/using iTunes; And if I do, then I clear the iPhone of songs via MM before I start iTunes and then reload them after I use iTunes. Not had any problems since I have been doing this.

I'm sure the developers have the problem in their sites and will get it fixed at some point.

I guess this is why we are in the beta forum, cause we are bleeding edgers (either with iPhones/iTunes versions, or with MM),and are happy to work with the developers to get it right for everybody else.

It would be good to have the developers comment on the current problem rather than having to remind them all the time...

(btw, iPhones 3.0.1, iTunes 8.2.x, MM 3.1.2.1267, Win XP SP3)

Hi -
I read on another post someone having trouble with MM mis-syncing some of the genres for certain songs. I am having the same issue, where a small number of random tracks are mis-classified (e.g. Ben Harper song going from 'Rock' to 'Classical'). It happens to single songs - not entire artists or albums. Any ideas? Is anyone else experiencing this?
Thanks
Matt

hi,

win7 + itunes 9 + iphone 3g 3.1 + mediamonkey 3.1.2.1270 (diPhone.dll date 10/03/2009 00:04 -> i really think you should version this)

two issues:
1- just synced for the first time. and my "Artists" tab of iphone is empty. but the songs are listed in the "Songs" tab. when i play them, it shows no artist. i guess the tag "Artist" was lost when i synced. all my songs are properly tagged.

2- the "non-skinned" version just don't work at all. a lot of bugs. i just can use the "skinned" version of mediamonkey. i guess it's something with windows 7.

best regards,
fabio

i erased all the songs from iPhone and then synced again with no sucess. i rebooted the devide, and the problem still persisted.

then i opened iTunes and the Artists started to show just as it should be.

then i returned to mediamonkey and added a few more albums. and, again, all artists disappeared from the "Artists" tab.

i opened itunes again and it "fixed" it.

Confirmed -- same here with the 1270 build. Sync'd about 1000 songs, none of which appeared on the iPhone until I started iTunes, and 'ejected' the iPhone. Once the library had updated, everything was in place.

Any confirmation that MM still works on 3.1.2 that was released today?

I haven't noticed any problems with 3.1.2 FW on my iPhone.

Since upgrading to iPhone 3.1.2, MM no longer sees the iPhone's name, or any tracks on it. The songs are still there, and play on the iPhone with no problem, but MM can't see anything.

elbuzzard this is the same problem I've been reporting a few times in this post and still awaiting an answer from one of the developpers to see if someone is working on it. Doesn't really have anything to do with you upgrading to 3.1.2.

It'll always happen if you go sync in itunes and come back to MM your music will not show up.

Jiri I don't want to be a pain but this issue definitly is one. Is it logged in somewhere? Looking at your bug tracking list (Mantis) I don't see this problem listed.

Don't get me wrong you guys are doing a great job, I love my MM!!

There currently isn't any known issue with iPhones, iPods or iTunes. Have you updated to the latest MM (build 1271)? There was such a problem previously, but 1271 works fine here (tested on many different devices and settings).
