It should be pretty easy.

1) Open up your "AdvancedReport.vbs" file with Windows Notepad, then copy the ini entry from the comment at the top. If you are unsure what that looks like, look at the two links I provided. You could even just copy the ini entry from one of these two links instead. That would save you the step of removing the apostrophes.

or
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 50#p256679

2)Paste that into your "Scripts.ini" file. As I mentioned, If you are using MediaMonkey 4., your "Scripts.ini" file will be located in the "C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts" folder. If using MediaMonkey 3, your "Scripts.ini" file will be located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts".

3) When copying to the "Scripts.ini" file, just follow the same progression. That is, make another entry at the end of all the other entries.

Hopefully that helps.

Good! I'm glad. And check out the other two tips I posted when you get a chance. It makes this script even better (IMO)

Trixmoto or anyone else. I'm wondering if someone can help me fix something.
For years, I have been using this script perfectly. I have been quite happy with the report it produces. But just the other day, the placement of the album art changed and I can't seem to figure out why, or how to fix it. I assume it is something that needs to be changed in the "Report.css", but I just can't seem to pinpoint it.
Can anyone offer advice? I would be very grateful.

Here is what it used to look like. The album art used to be right aligned.

And here is what it looks like now. Now it is left aligned.

Thank you!

EDIT: UPDATE:
It seems to be something particular to Google Chrome. Everything looks as it should in Internet Explorer and Firefox. It is only left-aligned in Google Chrome. Now I am even more perplexed! :-?

Maybe I will just wait for the next Google Chrome update and see if that fixes it.

UPDATE: It did fix it! I just got notice that Chrome had an update waiting. I updated it and problem was fixed. Cool! :D

New version (6.1) is now available to download from my website. Changes include...

- Added new video related fields (MM4 only)
- Fixed album artists not being listed if not a track artist
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.
All the code for my website and scripts is safely backed up immediately and for free using Dropbox.

I've decided to give this report a try and installed using the .mmip. But I can't find where to access it. I've looked in File>Create Reports and Tools>Scripts.

For some reason, this is a fairly common issue. You just have to manually add the an entry to the Scripts.ini file. Check out this post I wrote a while back.

Well, I feel like a dork...your solution was at the top of the page. I didn't want to wade through 43 pages to find an answer, guess I could have looked a little :-? . Thank you.

Oh, that's ok. We've all done it before.

I just recently discovered the Thread Search box that allows us to search threads for certain keywords. That allows you to find stuff like this really easily. Everyone knows about the Forum Search box at the very top of the page, but I don't think everyone sees the Thread Search box at the top of the thread.

Anyways, I hope you got it figured out.

BTW, This script rocks if used in conjunction with Dropbox. If interested, see my post here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 50#p256105

Please forgive my ignorance here but I am not a script user and so I am a little lost here.

As I could not find any native reporting in MM4, I wnet to the web site under Add-Ons\Reports foudn and downloaded this script, placed it in the Prgram Files(x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts folder, installed it (by clicking on the mmip file), opened MM4, and..now wondering what to do next. It not listed under Tools\Scripts, cant find anything under Tools\Optiond, so I am unclear on what I am supposed to do next. Could not find any instructions. Feel like an idiot.

Scripts are powerful but are most frustrating for first time users !

Thanks.

If you don't find it where Lowlander said, look at top of this page for other instructions. Sometimes this script doesn't make an entry in the scripts.ini file and you have to do it manually.

Ok, under Create Report I see the native reports only.

As to the ini files, uh oh.. not going to happpen for me. Thats been a major issue (aka nighmare) re MM4 on my current machine. It ended up in a hidden directory, and simply aint where its suppsoed to be. The ones I see are not the ones in use. This is an old issue. I can never find it when I need it, and as such settings are not part of the app ( like most software), its a just too much effrot to make this simple thing work. Everything else works fine ; gonna let sleeping dogs lie and save myself a few hours!

Thanks again for the follow-up. I at least I see the native reports!
