Lyricator - Batch Lyrics Updater v1.00 [OUTDATED]

I've detected a quite weird (btw, can I use the word "weird" in this context? Trying to improve my english ) bug. I've installed the latest version of Lyricator, and it works fine on my netbook, but it`s only visible in Scripts-Menu when MM is started in Admin mode. It had never been like this before, can you imagine why it's like this? If I don't start MM in Admin mode Lyricator seems not to be installed.

And another question, Lyricator isn't available through Right-Click directly, have you removed this feature? Just in case that's another specific bug just for me...

Sounds like an install error of some sort for Lyricator. Use Tools->Extensions->Lyricator(Uninstall) and then re-install Lyricator.
Also make sure you exit & restart MM after installing the script.

The right-click option for Lyricator was removed several releases ago. Use the"Right Click for Scripts" script if you want this function.

I finally decided to try this script, had been scared off by the original script warnings of dizziness and sweating, etc.

I'm getting an error message of "Cannot find 'file:///R:Temp/Lyricator.htm'. Make sure path or internet address is correct." R is my hard drive where MM is stored. I haven't seen this error in the thread.

Can anyone help?

Looks like a problem with parsing the TEMP setting for your system.

Start a command prompt and let me know your setting., e.g.

I'm kind of ignorant about computers. I asked a friend what you meant and they said to copy your suggestion of "ECHO %TEMP% into run from the start menu.

I did so and I get an error message stating "Windows cannot find ECHO". Did I do it right? BTW, I'm using Vista.

Either use Start->"Command Prompt" or if it is not available then use this command at Start->Run

And then type

ECHO %TEMP%

in the new window.

I assume you meant "C:\Users\L884C~1.THO\AppData\Local\Temp" instead of "C:\Users|L884C~1.THO\AppData\Local\Temp".

Anyway, looks like a problem when the temp drive (C:) and application drive (R:) are different. Will fix in next release.

This is what I'm getting with version 1.0.8.018, even after uninstalling and reinstalling (and removing all files/folders as directed above). Suggestions welcome.

@rrfpacker - New version tested with app on C: and temp on G: on my system. The error I got was different from yours. See if this version fixes your problem.

@davidbspalding - The application can't find your lyricator.css file. Please install the new version, I just added some additional logging to trace your problem.

I disabled UAC, now everything works fine. Tried to reinstall Lyricator several times before that, error ocurred everytime. Don't know what this is, but I don't mind either, now it's working fine, and UAC is simply annoying...still no problems on my netbook, everthing working fine.

Fixed in 1.0.9.20 (on my installation):

• Unable to find CSS file
• Only writes lyrics for 1st of all select tracks

New issues (none are "showstoppers"):

1. (usability) Cannot deselect check box by clicking the check box directly. Workaround: click text in another column of that row. (Clicking the check box to select works normally.)
2. (appearance) Some rows (below the initial screen) are not colored blue, regardless of checkbox status. (Tested by selecting and deselected without scrolling the window.
3. (appearance) Some check boxes are smaller (not bold?) than others.
