It must be a bug in MM3 alpha.
In the track properties, I can copy-paste Unicode strings and save id3v2 and these are displayed and saved correctly as Unicode.
But, when manually typing (in Russian), MM incorrectly displays it in the default windows codepage, which is Danish, and also saves it to the tags as ASCII.
System: Win2000Pro SP4. Default locale: Danish.
MM3 is set to write id3v2 tags ASCII+UTF
MM2.5.5 does not have this problem, I can type in Russian and save Unicode tags.
