Burn CD doesn't burn CD

I was just trying to burn a couple of CD's. I keep getting the "Burn CD Wizard". I go through each of the steps, and come to the page that shows all the burn settings. When I click on the "Burn" button, I get a pop-up window that warns me that, "Burn speed is limited to 4x for CD, ..." OK, I can see you need to encourage folks to spend some money, but I don't want to upgrade at this point, so I click OK. The pop-up disappears, but then the page just sits there like chopped liver. I click the "Burn" button again and get the same message and no further. No matter how many times I try, I don't get the CD burned.

What should I do? Write down the filenames of the tracks on my playlists and use Nero Burning ROM to burn them to a CD?

OK, I didn't notice the burn speed selected was the actual speed of my CD burner. When I went to the drop-down list and selected the 2.0 speed it worked fine.
