This is a great addition, I'm glad to see it built in to MM.
One suggestion however, please let me move to the position I want (and remember where I put it!).
The options for it could also use some type of preview and additional info (it is not obvious which way the vertical slider works at first).

Horizontal functions as expected, however the vertical slider seeming functions opposite from (I would assume) the most most logical sense of left being less (lower), and the right being more (higher).
Where as, the Vertical slider functions oppisite this, moving the vert slider to the right, lowers the pop-up window.
I suggest that, all 3 sliders have some type of indicater to show what they are doing, left = less/lower, right = more/higher:
Transparncy: 0% to 100% (transparent to opaque)
Horizontal: Left to right
Vertical: Lower to Higher
Alternatively, you can remove the location sliders completely, and let the user drag and drop the pop-up window to the position they want (just like every other panel/window).
Removing the horizontal/vertical sliders would return some space for the other options that were removed, like tray and numeric key options.
If the sliders are left in place, then the pop up window should have some type of preview, so that the user can see where the sliders are putting the pop-up window.
In any case, I could not see any way to manually drag and drop the pop-up window with the mouse. The window should be user movable, and it should remember where it was placed.
New script:
Last.FM Node Now with DJ Mode!
Last.fm + MediaMonkey = Scrobbler DJ!
Tag with MusicBrainz ~ Get Album Art!
Tweak the Monkey! ~ My Scripts Page

Numeric Keys option is only removed from Setup it still exists in MM INI so that should not be the problem.
Setup Dialog For InfoPopUp will show preview in next version.
I'm considering adding D&D but InfoPopUp is not regular component I'll leave that open for now.

I forgot that it stand for Top to Bottom.Vertical: Lower to Higher
When we clear all misc bugs. I'll explain all customization of InfoPopUp also I think that Morten could help a little.
Here is one Hint for all of you beta testers if anyone want to test and it is included in MM3A6:
Due to better Customization and user friendliness for both Skin designer and end-user here are latest update:
MM Ini File can contain Section [InfoPopUp] where will be stored all relevant info regarding InfoPopUp notifications.
Default/Basic skin
--------------------
'Title', 'Artist', 'Album', 'Year' = if present it will override default setting for that field.
Examples:
'Title=<Track#:2>. <Title>' = will override default ('Breakthrough') and show '02. Breakthrough'
'Artist=<Artist> (<Year>)' = will override default ('Queen') and show 'Queen (1992)'
It also should work with Masks supported in MM (Auto-Organize,...) There is also few other more advanced features yet to be documented. For now Enjoy and report ASAP in case of any problems.

The only question I have, is why was it not able to drag n drop to begin with?
This is how toaster and other various things work.
Heck, those sliders could instead be used to _RESIZE_ the pop up window and let the user drag n drop it where they want it.
(btw, I hope the size is not fixed, I am sure that users and skin makers would like some flexibility as to re-size the popup to their on preferences)

You already can make FullScreen PopUp if you want, even complex one of any shape.
Ask Morten if you do not believe me.
There is lots possibilities. I better stop or it will be no suprise

About D&D, For that you need to have something to D&D Info PopUp actually do not exist.

It is very customizable indeed. Just to let you guys know, I have been on vacation the last two weeks so I haven`t gotten to test Alpha 6. I`ll be back in a week and eager to test both this and the other enhancements. This popup mentioned is btw the same in both my WMP11 skin and Glided skin. Expect some more customization in that area as well as more optimizing on the skin in general.
I`ll be back
I`ll be back
