MediaMonkey output plugin: 0.5 second crossfade glitch

Post by Romanski »

Enable crossfading in MediaMonkey direct sound output plugin and set it to 0.5 seconds. Quite often MM3 will play a short sample of the previous song instead of the crossfade. It's a bit tricky to explain but basically here's an example:

Song 1: a,b,c,d,e,f,g
Song 2: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7

Expected: a,b,c,d,[e+1,f+2,g+3],4,5,6
Actual: a,b,c,d,[a,b,c,d],4,5,6

where the crossfade region is inside the [ ] brackets.

Anyone else seen such a glitch? Doesn't seem to happen with long crossfades like 4 seconds.

I was able to reproduce this problem, it will be fixed in the next release.
