MM 3.02 crashes after downloading MP4

Post by skst »

I've downloaded a number of podcasts already. (I'm switching from using Juice to MM.) But in one feed, after it downloads one episode, MM crashes.

The feed:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/scottsigler

When it downloads the Rookie 27.5 episode on 8 May 2007, it crashes. Maybe it's because it's an MP4 file?

"Scott Sigler-The Rookie #27.5 - BONUS EPISODE.mp4"

I suspect that "autor = " should be "author = ", but I'm not sure that would cause this problem.

Glad I could help.

Side note: Was I right about that other thing? Is there really a typo in the "DB exec SQL: UPDATE PodcastEpisodes SET IDPodcast = '4',title = 'The Rookie #7',autor = 'Scott Sigler'," statement where "autor" should be "author"? It sees as if the update statement would fail. Should I report that separately?[/b]

No, as I wrote it was related to tagging M4A files. There was a tweak (length checking on reading encoder info), the string "autor" is in our DB spelled badly, that is true, but it was not root of the problem. the problem is fixed in build 1138. You can check over later.

Thanks for the quick fix! I'll try it when it's released.

I figured it wasn't related to the bug; I just wondered if that really was a typo. And it's not. :)
