List only albums and not individual tracks

Post by adamflott »

I want to "tag" a bunch of albums as favorites and thus have that apply to all the tracks. Then I can make an auto playlist to only grab these high rated albums to sync to my ipod. How would I accomplish the first part (displaying only the artist album and year)?

I do it by using the browser. Select an album in the browser and then hold down the control key and select the next album and so on. When you have selected the albums hit CTRL+A to select all the tracks in the track list and apply your rating.

You can also do it without having to tag anything or make a special playlist, by simply selecting the albums from the album node in the sync options.

Albeit, this may be a bit tedious if you have a great many to select.
