Album Art getting put into my C: drive??

Post by iHeartMcNuggets »

I have been getting really annoyed with the fact that MM somehow continuously puts copies of album art in my C: drive...like literally in the basic C: drive, not in a folder, but also on top of that it also puts album art in C:/temp...so it is in 2 places. An example of what they are named is: "AW17819R7HHYPJ44 - 467.bmp"

Now, my boyfriend has MM on his computer as well and it doesn't do this...how do I make it stop!?

These files are thumbnails for Album Art View and path where these files should be saved is specified in settings as Temporary Directory.

I reported this in another thread (I'll find it later). I have MM's temp directory set to C:\Users\Paula\Documents\MediaMonkey\Temp\. What appears to be happening is that when existing album art is not displayed right away in Album Art with Details view (no ablum art image is displayed), a thumbnail of the existing album art is sent to C:\. This is completely reproducible for me and also completely annoying! I'll go find the thread where I posted a screenshot.

It would be nice if someone official-like would take a look at this. ;)
