Avoid bringing up MM when play/pause is pressed

I have a Microsoft Media Pro keyboard with play/pause/stop/rev buttons.
If I press the play/pause button, MM brings itself up front. I do not wish that to happen (very annoying at times).
Would it be possible to disable that, or to provide an option that would allow one to specify whether the MM main window should show up when play/pause is pressed?

MM does not show up if a rewind button or the stop button are pressed, which is good. So this could be either a bug, or a new feature request.

I think this is specific to your keyboard, with my Saitek Eclipse II it's not doing that.
