Posting thumbnailed screenshots to this forum
Can anyone suggest an alternative to imageshack which delivers a thumbnail that goes direct to the full-size original, rather than to an intermediate as per e.g. http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 58#p186458
Thanks.
Thanks.

I use imageshack but I edit the thumbnail link to direct image instead of default web page.
Working fine.

Under the image you uploaded you will see the list of link\tag options at the bottom this is "more" or "other" - I can't recall which. Once this pop-up is opened you can change what are the default options presented below the image. One of these options is thumbnail.chrisjj wrote:I uploaded a test, but the site didn't give me a thumbnail link.paulmt wrote:photobucket.com is what I use

Ah, not seen because hidden until mouseover - fixable in "Link options".

"Link options".

Excellent - thanks. And nice to see that clicking the thumbnail link automatically copies it.
But... that link is no better than imageshack's - I want one that

I get e.g.delivers a thumbnail that goes direct to the full-size original, rather than to an intermediate

"IMG for bulletin boards & forums - Clickable thumbnail" gives me the following code:
Which results in:

That's exactly what you want, no?
Code: Select all

Thanks Miz - the very same option gives me a link with a different action:

I can only guess you have Pro?

Nope, no Pro, but I think I've found the problem. Go into "account options" (toward the top of the page, right hand corner), then uncheck the "Images Link Back To Album" option.

Re: Posting thumbnailed screenshots to this forum
That works! (Despite photobucket saying "Clicks will [] go to the Photobucket home page"!)Mizery_Made wrote:uncheck the "Images Link Back To Album" option.
Well done Miz and thanks.
