let "now playing" window dominate over "search"

Hi experts - right now with the default skin my "search" results fill the window and "now playing" is always hidden and must be brought up through the "view" bar. Can i reverse this such that "now playing" persists in the main window and "search" results come up in a smaller right sidebar? Thanks.

Always enable the Now Playing and reposition the windows to your liking seems what you're looking for. Enabling Title bars in the different windows (right click in each window to access it) allows you to drag & drop windows (except the Track Listing) and you can resize them on the borders.
