Move database and keep Play Counts?

Posted this in the Need Help forum (http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =1&t=63450); they said I should try here.

I am trying to move my MM library to new laptop from desktop. The songs are all greyed out and the only way to get them to play is to rescan the folder. This causes the library to triple and the only section of it that plays does not inherit the DB properties such as Play Count.

How do I keep my db when moving to a different computer? Or redoing the original, as I plan to reconfigure the desktop as soon as I get the laptop up and running? Is there some script or add-on that works? I tried those suggested in the original thread with no success.
