Now Playing Slider in 2.5.2.943

When double clicking a new track...the slider in "Now Playing" does not reset...but I can still seek through the track. It's only sometimes though. I can't consistantly duplicate it. If I minimize MM then it clears when I maximize again.

I can reproduce it everytime now. If I edit the rating or genre while it's playing, the "now playing" player just freeze. Also, the bitrate doesn't show in the player.

I was trying to reproduce the bug...i was editing the rating of a song and double clicked another one in now playing while MM still had "1 track to be tagged"...that crashed mediamonkey and had close it through ctrl+alt+del...maybe this needs some attention? can anyone else reproduce it?

For anything like this we need a more detailed information, a debug log would help.

Tylast, Judas,
From the info received to-date, we're not exactly clear on the problem.
Can you give exact repro steps so that I can trigger it on my machine or exact repro steps that you use to trigger it (where are you double clicking a track, is it the track that is already playing, are you editing the track that is playing? what is the Now Playing slider--do you mean the Seekbar in the Player? etc.). Does it occur with every track? Does it occur with a particular track?
Thx.

-Track is already playing (any track ~ but I am using primarially FLAC)
-Edit the track WHILE it's playing (change rating, genre, etc)
-Then the seekbar doesn't show (or freezes) & the scrolling text stops
-I have to change the focus to another window (another program) to get it to show anything.
- FYI, the seek still works if you click anywhere on it...but all the visuals stop
Thanks!

Ok now I understand--this looks to be the same as:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9358
I've tried replicating it and can't. If anyone can, please provide graphics hardware and driver info or anything else that you think might be triggering it on your particular system.
Thx.

I tried with mp3 in 2.5.2 and the player jumps to 0 and back to current possition when hitting ok in the properties dialog for the now playing song. Maybe this is the point where it goes wrong. It doesn't properly return to the current playing position.
This issue has been fixed

A fix is included as of 2.5.5.980 (until 2.5.5 is released, this can be found in the beta forum).
