Certain tags in MediaMonkey are linked to the same value in the MediaMonkey database. That is to say that filling in a certain tag, for example Podcast, that information is shared and linked to other fields like Series and Album. So when you enter a value in the Podcast tag that same value will now be shown in the Series and Album tag in MediaMonkey. The following are mapped fields in MediaMonkey:
- Album (non Podcast Audio) = Podcast (Podcast) = Series (Video/TV)
- Artist (Audio) = Director (Video/TV)
- Lyricist (Audio) = Screenwriter (for Video/TV)
