MediaMonkey le permite Grabar un CD de Audio para que pueda ser leído por cualquier reproductor de CD estándar o un CD/DVD de Datos que pueda ser utilizado para respaldar su colección o reproducirse en otro dispositivo.
Grabar un CD de Audio
- Cree una Lista de Reproducción que contenga Pistas que desee grabar (opcional).
- Seleccione la Lista de Reproducción de Pistas que desee grabar.
- Arrastre y suelte las pistas en el botón Grabar en la Barra de Herramientas o de clic en Grabar CD/DVD/BD del menú Herramientas o del menú Copiar en el cuadro de diálogo En Reproducción. Se abrirá un Asistente para Grabar Discos.
- Siga el asistente, configure las preferencias del CD (vea abajo) y presione el botón 'Grabar'.
Un CD de Audio puede ser reproducido por cualquier Reproductor de CD estándar.

- Agregue o quite contenido que desee incluir en el CD/DVD/BD. Tenga en cuenta que si el contenido seleccionado excede del espacio disponible en un disco sencillo,
- Select the Playlist or Tracks that you want to Burn.
- From the Tools menu or from the Copy menu in the Now Playing Dialog, click Burn CD/DVD. A Wizard will open.
- Add or remove content that you wish to include on the CD/DVD. Note that if the content selected exceeds the space available on a single disc, you will be prompted to insert additional discs until the entire selection has been burnt.
- Choose the format in which the disc should be burnt.
- Choose the 'disc format'. This is the format that is used by default for all tracks that will be burnt to the disc. See Configuring Directory and Filename Formats for details. Note that the format chosen affects the order in which they will be burnt--i.e. tracks are burnt in alphabetical order (this is relevant if you will use disc in a device that plays tracks in the order in which they've been burnt).
- Enable 'Burn Playlists to:' if you wish to burn Playlists in an alternate format that preserves track order.
- Enable 'Burn .m3u Playlists' to burn .m3u playlist files for the nodes that you've selected
Organize playlists using 'prefix for each playlist type' will cause all playlists to be burnt to a single directory, and playlists for a specific Artist will be prefixed by the word 'Artist - '. If you organize the playlists using 'directory for each playlist type' then playlists will be organized into multiple directories. The latter is more usable, but the former may be preferable for devices with poor navigation tools.
- Step through the Wizard, configure CD Settings, and press 'Burn'.
A Data CD/DVD will be burnt.
