Sounds like more work, but certainly that would allow everyone to get their preference.

You are right, I thought about basic Settings and basic show like I described
Hmmmmm.... I'm thinking of ability to reduce Row height in Skinning+Separator Line value (It is already 0)+Font Size+Edit Region height+Aligment (Top, Center, Button)+Not making Skin Engine too Blooted.

Anyway good point for future expansion of Skin Engine.

No - e.g. Windows Media Player and WinAmp do not have this extra space.

> same spacing Loss in Excell

No - Excel lets me reduce the spacing.

Surely MM could optionally disable the extra spacing?

MediaMonkey is behaving like any Table Browsers you can observe same spacing Loss in Excell or even on regular HTML page that have Columns and Rows except MM do not show lines so you get visual effect that there is free space.

OK, thanks. If Devs are reading this, may I ask they consider reducing the spacing to the Windows standard? Or at least reducing it a bit to make it consistent with the other panes e.g. the Tree View and Track Browser? Thanks.

Not at the moment. (or I'm missing something)

How about through skinning?

by Steegy » Tue Jun 12, 2007 7:38 am

Currently that's not possible. And afaik this is a new wish.

Sure. Here's MM:

and here's Notepad:

I don't really understand what you mean (don't be mad at me; I'm born like that 8)).
Maybe a screenshot would be helpful.

Line spacing

How can I get the display text lists e.g. Track List to use the regular Windows line spacing? Here the spacing is quite a bit greater than the regular textbox line spacing visible in e.g. Notepad, reducing the number of visible lines and (for me) reducing (EDIT:) readability.

Thanks.
