Ok, let us see how it works, so if it is better time will tell. :D

fyi, Songs-db 1.4 beta 3 (build 506) already _does_ allow the user to set 'non-standard' track numbers >99 .

track numbers over 100

I disagree with you :)
As I see in Songs-DB Order field is read from MP3 Track number and track number in MP3 is generated by Audio Grabber acording to Track number on Audio CD, as audio CD can't have more than 99 tracks it will be against standards. Maybe a Playlist order field will solve that.

Quite interesting proposal, I agree that there is no reason to limit the track order to <100.

track numbers over 100

I would like the ability to put whatever track number I choose for a song. On multiple album CDs I like to label the first CD in a series of 100 (101, 102, 103...) and the second CD in a series of 200 (201, 202, 203...) and so forth. Lately, I have been using WMP or Windows Explorer to allow me to do this but Songs-DB doesn't 'like' it. This way, when I choose an album, all the tracks are available to play in order instead of having to choose Albumname CD1 or Albumname CD2.
