nomeansno,
I have observed this as well, but only (as in your screenshot) when viewing my albums in the My Computer node. View the album in the Library node and the album art appears in both places.

I suspect this is intentional, since viewing an album in the Library node means albums added to your library, while starting from My Computer could be any files, in or out of the Library.

no album art....

I'm using the latest build and there is still no album art in the main window (it is ok on the player and in the album art window but there is only the default icon in the main window). Everything is enable - album art and artist album -. In fact I never saw any album art with any build of MM3.

It is very annoying......... :D

Thanks!

Now I feel silly, since I always use my filter views. Thanks for your kind and helpful answer. :P

Hi. Try to enable "Album Art" and "Artist/Album" columns (right-click on title).

I too am not able to see the art, I am not aware when this problem began because I usually do not use the album art view. Here is a picture of what I am see when I select the album art view with details.

i have my album art in seperate folder for saving.

and all the songs i have the art tagged to, do show up in the main list view when i change it to view album info.

if there is no art tagged to a song then i get no speical image
just the default icon.

the special image for no album art needs to placed in to the skin by the skinner. and there needs to be two different ones,
or atleast there use to be a need for two different ones.?

but if you are not getting any image including the default icon when you switch the view to album info. there must be something wrong. give us more info in your messages or do a debug log and send it for mm 2.

mm 3 should make its own debug log when it has an error then you need to send it to support.

if you have crashes when off line and you tell it to send the report in automatic.. if it can not connect it saves the bug report in the media monkey folder in a zip file.
just send an email to support and attach that zip file to the email.

let us know more if you have not got it found out yet. 8)

I'm using MM3 3.0.1.1109 side by side with the latest build of MM2. In MM3, I save album artwork to tags, and when a song is playing, it shows up in the default position in the lower left corner, just like in MM2, but when I select either "album art with details" or "show album art" options in the main, center window, I only get blank "cd"/"no album art" icons. Do I need to do a cache like in Pretty Pictures in MM2 to have album art appear in the main window in MM3? Or does album art need to be placed in a separate folder for this to work? Thanks for any help you can offer.
