With the 1.4 beta, there is a new Filename column that is enabled by default so that you don't have to see the entire path.

Check out the beta forum if you want to give it a try.

Under the Songs option along the side menu and under the path column I would like to know if there is a way of removing part of the path?
For example under Path it has c:\my music\misc\filename.mp3

I have all my MP3s in My Music under sub directories and would like it to either cut the c:\my music\ out of the path or to just display the filename without the path proceeding it (although preferably just getting c:\my music\ out of the path).

I realize that there is a song option which just displays the name, but that seems to use the id tag of each song and I have too many to really go through adding an ID Tag to them all.

If this is possible it would really help screen space.
