initially i tried two cds that had data burned by my friends, not manufactured cds produced by companies or anything, and they didn't work..

but then i restarted my comp and mediamonkey ripped both without any problems.

heh. maybe it was just a first time glitch. hopefully

anywayz thanks for the info

CD Ripping problem

Phoenix, Did you try ripping any other CDs?

If ripping a particular CD consistently fails, it may be due to Copy Protection measures embedded in the CD. More information about this can be found at:
http://www.fatchucks.com/z3.cd.html

If ripping/playing a CD consistently fails on any CD, then there's a problem with the CD configuration. If this is the case, please check out section 5b,c,d of the readme file (in the /Program Files/MediaMonkey directory on your HD) and let me know if that solves the problem.
