I see "MM Sync of iPhone/iPod Touch fails with iTunes 8.1.1" but that implies you could sync your iPhone if you just had the right version of iTunes which is not true. There is no version of iTunes that will allow you to sync your 3.0 iPhone.
And the MM's front page instead of offering the feature "Sync iPhones, iPods, & MP3 players, converting & leveling tracks on-the-fly." should say "Sync iPhones if they are running an old operating system that NOBODY ACTUALLY RUNS"
Yes it's Apple's fault that this is busted, but that's no excuse for MM's poor communication on the issue.
