I'm on my third and my icons are still normal. It must be a setting in the theme, but I honestly can't find it. If I do, I will certainly let you know!

they are also whiter on the christmas skin i made. that i redid with that skin engine? so i think it might be something to do with the skin engine?

or something like i might have been making a mistake? but i don't think so i am a human we don't make mistakes do we? it is always the softwares fault.

but i cant figure out what it was, so have you made a couple skins yet with that skin engine? if so have your icons got whiter also?

if not then it has to be only on my end which would mean NO that would be mean i did a mistake NO it has to be the software it can't be me 8) :) :P

They don't go progressively lighter on my machine, but for that skin they go very white compared to normal.

it is strange i baiscly stopped making skins as it was looking like the icons would disapear shortly if i kept making skins.

you have this discussion going in two topics? That's very confusing! Can you post a link to the other thread?

The theme engine shouldn't matter, I can see the problem in my MM, I just can't find out what part of the theme is causing it to happen, yet.

ADDITION: Ok, found the other thread, not the same, don't worry about posting a link.

ADDITION: I REALLY can't find out what is doing this. I have changed fonts, tiling, bitmaps, the lot - can't work out what's doing it. You JungleMonkey skin is fine though - very confusing. MM Team please HELP!!!!

did you see in the other post on my updated skins. i said i uploaded the skin engine zip file to my skin's page. if you have a newer theme engine it might not show you any thing that is wrong?

but you also might beable to see it your self. as for me i been making the skin so i can't tell what i did or if i did anything or not? :o

You're right, the icons go white. It must be something to do with the theme. I'll take a look.

Can any MM developers help with this? One of you must have programmed the drawing of the icons!?!

okay got my version of media monkey working again and the computer updated and defragmented.

but the icons on the skin did not change they still are white? is it something i did? or is it just an error you think in the old theme skin editor program. :-?

I had mentioned early I was away for the weekend, but don't sweat it. I will let you know tomorrow whether I experience the same problems on my computer, and hopefully come up with a solution.

by rovingcowboy » Sun Oct 02, 2005 9:28 am

i did not know you was on different computers is all so i was wondering why you had to email it?

I thought you had emailed the link to yourself.

but you can't download anything from my site unless your are looking at my site pages because angelfire blocks linking in.

so emailing the link to the file to download from your email client wont work.

that is why i was confused? 8)

I don't understand. I did download Trucking, and then emailed it to myself as I downloaded it on the computer I'm on at the moment, which does not have MM installed.

by rovingcowboy » Sat Oct 01, 2005 9:35 am

why did ya not just download it? it is not that big?

about 3/4's of an mb i think?

Ok, I've emailed trucking to myself so I'll let you know the verdict on monday.

by rovingcowboy » Fri Sep 30, 2005 11:31 pm

you can go to my download page and get the trucking skin or the christmas skin and see if they are doing it on your computer.
