Normally, at the bottom of the screen, there is a split information bar. The leftmost 40% contains info on files selected, size, etc. The rightmost 60% contains information on # of files to be tagged/analyzed, etc. (this may be one or more sections, depending on # of tasks).
Right clicking the bar and choosing 'maximize status bar' moves the rightmost piece up, so that it has its own line, and thus fits more information. Unfortunately, it does not move the split in the lower bar.
In my case: I have the font set somewhat larger than standard so that my old eyes can see it. This means that the info on the leftmost bar goes past the terminator, and is hidden.
It would be nice if maximizing the status bar also eliminated the terminator on the lower bar. If someone knows how to make this happen (without changing the font size), I'd love to know.
