Well, I could hack my XBox but rather wouldn't.

I did figure this out though; for some reason, the background mosaic only takes images from folder.jpg in each folder, not from images in tags. So I used Album Art Tagger to export all images from tags to folder.jpg.

More of a question related to Windows Media Center than MM as such, but someone here might have encountered it.

I use MM to tag my music. I've just done a clearup to make sure it's all tagged correctly including album art and that album arts is saved in tags rather than files.

It turns out that although this works fine in WMC to display individual albums, the mosaic background shown for Playing Now doesn't use album art from tags.

Anyone know a workaround apart from having to go back and save album art as files in folders?
