I suggest turning off all the auto options in google player i dont even update that any more, it looks to me like winam is set to get high res images but google uses their own database and i dont think its a good one. I'm not shure how mma is gathering the art but if it is using a database image like mmw uses for its thumbnails then it is possiple google downloared bad images to the songs properties and mma used them to make its database which would cause bad image's in both and good ones in winamp which i think downoads its own images for its database use.

Other then that i dont know what would cause it.

OEM=original equipment manufacture, in software and computers i'm not sure what they use to mean samething. But thats what the industrial manufactures use.

I USB synced it with mediamonkey for PC . what'a a OEM? haha. I have this low res album art issue with google play music as well. the only player that shows it correctly is Winamp for android.

Is this for songs synced to the device and if so did you wifi or USB sync?

Did you disable your OEM default Android music app? It might be going online and downloading low res art for the songs when it does its auto scan of the device looking for music files, i had similar issue with the Google player, until i set all its options to off.

I really want to use MMA as my default music player on my Nexus 7 but it keeps showing low res album art. Something which i cannot tolerate. any fix to this? Till it is fixed, guess i'll go back to winamp for android.
