MMA version: 1.0.4.0145
MediaMonkey: 4.0.7.1511
When transferring music files using MM from PC through USB, albums with multiple artists cause problems on MMA. The issues are as follows:
1) The Album Artist tag against a multi-artist album from MediaMonkey is ignored and not copied over to MMA. MMA seems to try to re-determine the album artist from the artists of the constituent tracks. The issue is manifested in one of two ways in the "Albums view" on MMA:
a) the album is shown multiple times each with a different artist of the constituent tracks OR
b) the album is shown once, but with the artist of the last track
To correct the problem, I have to manually change the Album Artist for each album after which it appears correctly in the Albums view on MMA.
2) However, when I do so, it causes another issue on the "Genres view". When I select the "Albums tab" in the Genres View, the albums for which the album artists were edited are missing!
Hope this helps.
