Feature Request: Playlist Art Thumbnails [#11380]

Now that we are close to having an official release I thought I'd bring this up - it is such a small thing but it would make MMA just a little nicer for me. Here goes:

In the Artists & Album Artists, Genres, and Playlists menus, when there are multiple albums under a particular entry, MMA appears to use an offset stack of up to three thumbnail images. These images appear to be chosen alphabetically, sorted back to front (A Day at the Races is on the bottom, Backless is in the middle, and Califnornication is on top). This is a neat feature, but functionally, this particular implementation means for me that the images associated with these screens rarely changes. I imagine that for some people this is a good thing, but for me, and especially for playlists, my preference would be for more variety. So, for me it would be great if either (a) the art used in the stack could be randomly determined or (b) the first three albums on the "list" could be used.

Given the way I use MMA Genres and Artists & Album Artists are pretty static, but most of my playlists are sorted randomly on the MMW side so for me option (b) would mean that I get to see a constantly rotating set of thumbnails (as would option a).

Interested to hear what others think, and happy to be told that it would be a terrible thing to do :)

Jeff
