just sent the logs, sorry only a while after my testing, so you're gonna have to ignore the last hours,

check the screenshots to find the exact time (i guess the log is timeloged?)

so here are 3 screenshots

in the order :

1/ after i unplugged my device, right before i started MMA, started a song, paused it and hit "home button" (note that MMA was still in the notification dropdown menu, but paused)

2/ after 30 minutes of MMA paused and the phone not beeing used at all, then i hit "stop" button in notification dropdown menu

3/ a while after 2/

Maybe thats the normal functionning, since i put MMA in the notification bar always as option. Should i try to remove the option? But i want to be able to use it anytime from there..

Hi,

could you please send us logs from Options->Send logs. If you are able to replicate the whole behaviour, please start app and go away (as you did previously). After some while (30 minutes) when you still see that MediaMonkey is running, start MM and send the logs. Thanks

as i said, i didnt listen to mediamonkey at all during that time.

After taking the screenshot, i killed mediamonkey using android "force stop" option

and then i waited (not listening to mediamonkey either), and right now i just took a screenshot again.

here is the result :

so basically it killed the process and my phone could deep sleep again.. so i guess something is wrong (i noticed this a while ago actually, just took the time to put it here today)

Then again, we would have to check if it affects autonomy, but normally deep sleep is a strong feature of android, and anything that prevents it potentially affects autonomy..

When were the stats collected? If it is over a period when you were listening to music / syncing / connecting to bluetooth / browsing UPnP etc. there's a good reason for MMA to have been active. But if it's when MediaMonkey should have been terminated, then it's a problem.

I'll test further, but please let me know.

Thanks.

Hi,

I've noticed that MMA is keeping my Galaxy S3 to go into deep sleep mode

It's hard to see if its actually causing a problem battery-wise (i.e if the autonomy is affected) and i probably need to make a comparison, it seems quite strange still

See the screenshot below, taken with wakelock detector

has anyone noticed the same?

for information, in this screenshot, it shows MMA beeing active for 5 hours even though i actually didnt listen to any music since i unplugged my phone from the sector
I might have opened the application as i have a widget of it on the launcher, but thats it, i never even started music..

on the latest build of MMA 1.0.4.0175, android 4.1.2, galaxy S3
