You need to send the logs to support, the developers will understand them: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... &_a=submit

I can't understand the logs and don't know how to post them. I would give up but I have done this before!

Just install the debug version of MediaMonkey, download and run DBGView, then download file as usual. If DBGView still doesn't show anything with the debug version of MediaMonkey you may have to start DBGView as Administrator.

Sorry for the delay but the debug app seems to have no text in the help file so I'm having difficulty using it. I'll re-post when I've got the log.

Follow the link posted, it's explained there.

Love to, but have no idea what you are talking about. How do I make a log? What is 4b?

I'd suggest capturing the download attempt in a debug log (step 4b) as it may be hard to reproduce without the same server. Send the log to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=20&t=69

Thank you for your efforts. It is a Video file of a one hour programme(only a few files have any size accorded to them). The client has not got MM installed it is a PVR, but all recorded progs show up in the MM window.

It worked for me (from a MMW server to a MMW client). Is any auto-conversion set to happen and is is a large video or small audio file?

Copying files

Using MM 4.1.0.1692 standard (portable) with Win 8.1.
I am trying to copy a file from my Panasonic DMR-BWT800 via my home network. In the Download window it shows the download in progress with % showing various numbers going up to 100; next to that is a kbps which shows figures ranging from 121,704 to -11,200(!)
This continues for 15 minutes and at the end the file is not transferred. Can someone tell me what is happening and why I cannot copy file from my PVR?
