That's up to you.
By default, MediaMonkey's .ini file is configured for single user access to a locally stored database. However, it is possible to change these settings so that multiple users can share a database stored to a common location.
Note that MediaMonkey uses sqlite as the backend database, and it isn't designed as a multi-user/networked database, so test this approach in your local environment carefully before deploying.

Thank you for you answers!

Do you know if my husband and I will share the same collection(s) or if each computer is independant?

If MediaMonkey is being used for personal use, then you can use a license that you've purchased on up to 3 machines that you own (for as many users as you want on each of those machines).

Gold license on two computers?

Hello!

I want to get the Gold license as soon as possible! But first, I would like to make sure it is still OK to use a MM Gold license on two different computers (sharing the same HDD as music library). I have read we could use it on three computers, but the information was writen some years ago...

If it is still OK, will my husband and I have our own collection on our own computer, or will we share the same single one?

Thank you!
