Thanks,
I would not have thought that option would be the one, but there you go.

Go to tools > options > output plugins, select the sqrsoft plugin and click the configure button. A new window should open of which you need to select the advanced tab and select the disable popup windows.

Lowlander,
The web browser it opens is a setting that can be turned off
How ????

On very rare occasions v1.75 pauses music when too much Web Windows are oppen.

Example: SQR is used in radio station where I worked/managed library back in 2001. As soon as updated 1.72 to 1.75 I'm not sure if it was after constant Winamp playing for several days without Web Window close and no monitoring of computer behavior.
Just one PC, ~72h+ Playlist and happy weekend.

At that time MM didn't existed :( It would be life savior then.

The web browser it opens is a setting that can be turned off. As for pausing I haven't experienced it.

SQRCrossfader is shareware solution, which sometimes pauses music and throw info Window (I almost lost a job because of it when I updated SQR from 1.72 to 1.75[before I bought Personal licence for 1.75 and now I do not use it])

See the faq about crossfading and gapless playback: http://faq.mediamonkey.com/index.php?ac ... artlang=en
Or find more information here in the forums, and in MediaMonkey's readme file.

Suggestion: first try the default plugin DirectSound Output with the modified fading and buffer settings. In case you don't like that, you can still install SqrSoft's solution.

Cheers
Steegy

thanks for that!

I probably should have mentioned that I am a bit computer illiterate, if there's an easy way to do that I would REALLY be appreciative!

thanks again!!

You can even set it With MM Direct sound plugin. Check under Fading Tab in OUT_DS plugin Config.

It is called crossfading and can be done by various output plugins. SqrSoft Avanced Crossfading plugin is often discussed here. You can search for output plugins on the WinAmp website.

I don't really know what it's called, but I want my player to blend songs together sort of? like how ITunes does, when one song is ending it leads into another song. I hope that makes sense!

thanks in advance!! :D :D :D
