Thanks; as you see in my reply above to another helper, this was indeed the trick; the Z2's hardware menu button acts as app-specific in this case. I missed it initially, just by being bone-headed (or maybe it was buggy before tonight, but my money's on cranium ossification).

Thanks for the reply. I searched ~1+ hr for how to screenshot a Cowon Z2. Seems there is no way to do that. Some websites say outright that older Android OSs did not allow screenshots, and that adding that capability via an app, requires rooting. Given that my Z2 is dedicated to music playback, I don't want to risk screwing up the Cowon audio software by rooting it. Silly, maybe, but some of their audio (quality adjustment) software is a notch above the others I've tried.

Sweet. That worked. Thanks! On the Z2, it's the hardware menu button immediately to the left of the home button. This brings up all the functions that in later versions (like the MMA install on my other device - a Samsung tablet running Kitkat) are accessed via vertical ellipses icon (...): Sleep Timer, Sync Now, Graphic Equalizer, Options, and About MM.

I crosschecked the contents of the Options screen against my Samsung's MMA, and they match.

So, a nube error, but I'm nonetheless happy and grateful for the fix.

Thanks again.

On the S5, there is a button that shows you open apps. If you hold this button, it acts as an option button. Maybe you have a similar button on your phone that will allow you to access this menu

No help. Did a clean reinstall, and I'm still not seeing the Options icon (the vertical version of "...").
Any suggestions?

MMA won't show options icon

I am getting bugs layered so deep, I don't know where to start. Maddening.

But this one is huge: the vertical ellipses (...) icon that should be at top-right of my screen is missing. Since this icon accesses the options menu, I am pretty much dead in the water without it. Can't look for clues as to why MMA doesn't see the music files that it just synced from MMW, and which file browsers find no problem.

I have MediaMonkey Pro for Android. It's installed on a Cowon Z2 Plenue running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

I have tried uninstalling MMA, and reinstalling it. But no clean install yet (e.g., http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... an-install).

Another gripe: when I reinstalled MMA-Pro, then tried opening it (from within Google Play), it said "to complete the installation of MediaMonkey Pro, please install MediaMonkey." So I did, and afterward, tapping the MMA-Pro icon just gives me a pop-up message: "application is not installed". Tapping the MMA (non-Pro) icon launches the app, but again, no Options icon. And I have no idea whether it is opening as Pro or as free version. (I guess as neither since what's opening is crippled, having no options icon.)

So, I guess I need to try a clean reinstall.
