This is really a big deal for me.
PowerPlayer does it beautifully, I am absolutely astonish that nobody reported this before.
It annoys me quite a bit that I have to unlock the screen every time.
I suppose one option is to wander around with unlocked phone but who does that these days anyway...

I am hoping that somebody from MM Development team stumbles upon this thread and does something about it.
I bought MM Pro and it does absolutely everything I want but this I must say is quite annoying.

I will leave the thread like this for a week or so and unless nobody comes up with some solution I will email MM to see if they can help.

Best regards

I'm experimenting this issue too. The lock screen shows the album image but no play, pause, ff, rew buttons. No lock screen player at all.

* Edit: It's a Lollipop LG G2 and native player, as well as the Google's Play Music and other software shows the buttons correctly. MMA not.
** Also: Installing MMA Beta does not solves the issue and, as SuperMarioY said, check or uncheck that "Use the system lock screen player" does not have any effect.
*** Just figured out that if there's no security option enabled (ie, pattern, password or pin), the MMA lock screen player appears correctly. But that's not a real solution, since other players work fine with lock screen AND a security option. Hope future versions solve it, I'm using gold MM on desktop for years and I really want to use MMA.
**** Ok, last edit or I hope so: the issue is that MMA player is setted to show it's notifications as confidential. This should be used only for content sensitive apps, like IM, emails, phone calls, etc. Music players notifications should not be confidential. I think that if the developers remove this setting the lock screen player will work nice and neatly. Thank you.

Hi there,

Before posting a thread I did check the obvious so that I am not wasting anybody's time.

The only option I see in 'Tools>Options' is:

Use the system lock screen player
(Enables the system player controls on the lock screen)

It makes no differenec to what it is set, I still have to unlock the screen before I can see MM controls.

I will keep digging.

You can enable lock screen player in the MMA options.

Hi all,

I am moving away from iTunes and Powramp to MediaMonkey.
I think I am almost there, Playlists are synching as they should and there is only one more thing to fix befoew I am good to go.

When I am using Poweramp and screen goes into locked mode when pressing the power button I am getting Poweramp controls displayed so that I can skip songs fowards, backwards so so on. Is this possible with MediaMonkey? This is quite important to me as I live in a rather cold country so I don't really want to unlock the screen every time I want to move from one song to another.

I don't mind paying for it at all providing I know what exactly to download.

Best regards
-Mario
