I have been trying to figure out and/or work around a few problems with the Send To (my HTC10) option for a few months now (since I installed MM). But so far, I can’t find the fix.
The most frustrating part in this is that the very same files work fine on my phone if I just drag these files over to the phone with windows explorer.
Here’s the problem…
When I select a video and then use the Send To function to send a video to my phone I often get an error telling me that my phone does not support the video format. Of course this isn’t true because if I drag the files over with windows explorer they work fine. I haven’t tried using any of the AutoSync methods because #1 I’m probably not going to use those functions, and #2 I assume I am going to have the same problem.
Bottom line is that I need to figure out what is going on with the Send To function. Why is it telling me my phone doesn’t support the file when it does?
Btw. I have been having this problem with .mov files and mp4 files.
I hope we can get this resolved because it definitely takes away from the usability of this product.
I am wondering if it is possible that this might be fixed if I were using the paid version. I don’t want to purchase something that so far is not working correctly.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
