MediaMonkey Android app is designed to play files synced to your Android, not control MM player on your computer.

If you want an app to remotely control the MediaMonkey player on your Windows computer then you need to get MMRemote, it's a free app. But to get this to work you also need the MediaMonkey Remote Server installed on your Windows computer to link the two. Do a Google search for Mediamonkey Remote, it should explain everything.

sorted... just rebooted everything (whoops) however I still can't find any way to remotely manage the library or MM player via the app... it just seems to be a file sync app

Hi... I have the paid MediaMonkey Android app and MediaMonkey Pro on Windows 10... It's stuck on 'searching' when I go to 'select sync server' - any suggestions? I'm hoping the app will allow me to remotely rate and / or delete files.
