Did you try with build 1837? It should be fixed.

Same problem here. Instructions for rolling back to previous version? Until then I think I'll switch to MusicBee--it's not perfect but seems to have less issues than MediaMonkey.

Hi, does it happen with the latest build 1837? There was bug in working with longer paths, which was causing the same error. If so, please try to catch it in debug log, thanks.

Getting the same problem here. Ever since I got the new update, it seems to happen every time I open MediaMonkey.

I'm getting the same error randomly when I skip to the next song, or when a song finishes and the next starts playing. It doesn't seem to happen all the time though, and I can't see any discernable pattern to which songs it happens with. It doesn't appear to happen when I manually open a file in the library, and I can just click retry and it carries on working just fine.

I got the same error while trying to rip a CD

Capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=69

Debug Assertion Failed!?!

by misterhabs » Sat Jun 03, 2017 10:13 am

I get this message occasionally.

Debug Assertion Failed!

Program C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\MediaMonkey.exe
file: fdopen.c
Line: 53

Expression: (unsigned)filedes < (unsigned)_nhandle

And I get options to Abort, Retry or Ignore.

I try to retry repeatedly, or ignore. Often I'm forced to Abort and close MediaMonkey all together. This only started happening in the last few days with the most recent update. I'm running version 4.1.16.1836 on windows 10.

I tried searching through support and I couldn't find anything. Any help with this error would be appreciated.
