I'm too far out in the country to get decent commercial radio reliably and for the most part have to stream my music through the internet or depend on my iTunes library.
I use MM Android on my phone along with MM Windows and iTunes as part of my home music system.
The music output from my PC sound card is wired to two amplifiers in the house. This the only way I can get the same music to all the areas in the house that I want.
I can Bluetooth the phone to the PC. Tunes playing on the phone with MM or any other music app play on the PC and out to the rest of the house through the amplifiers.
I also use a PC remote control app called Team Viewer. The app is installed on both the phone and the PC. It links the phone to the PC through my home network. The PC screen appears on the phone and I can control any program on the PC with the phone.
Through Team Viewer my phone can control several music apps on the PC including MM Windows, iTunes, Sting Ray and a few radio apps. This method is more reliable than Bluetooth which tends to skip a bit when the signal drops in some areas in the house. The network WiFi has no problem.
Controlling the PC with the phone works well enough but the small screen makes it a bit difficult. My wife's tablet has a much larger screen and is easier to use.
