EDIT: Should be as DB format has not changed a lot that it would not, but due the other improvements in 4.1 I'm not sure it is worth. Try it as portable install.

Also when MM5 gets released for mac (not as soon as you would expect) it would be much easier to make plugins like these.

What do you mean by "at least for the export feature". "Should be able..." does not sound overly confident ;-) Has the database format changed? Do I have other options to downgrade to MMW 4.0.7?

Reason being so I can use this (http://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/browse/item/device-plugin-for-itunes/) plugin that is not being supported with further versions.

is there a simple way to export MM-database and playlists to itunes?

The following would be crucial concerning database export:
-maintain date added
-maintain playcount
-maintain rating (if possible)

For playlist, I am hoping a simple M3U should work.

How can that be done? All I found so far is old posts with scripts that are no longer working/supported.
