I'm not sure that you can expect SD card transfers to work like this. The reason why is that they often have unique identifiers in the Path and Playlists are basically a list of file Paths. Thus only when the Paths are the same could a Playlist work in the first place.
As for sync problems, you can capture a debug log (step 4b) of the sync and attach the log to a Support Ticket:
