No, there is always one row only, but you can pin the favorite artists and have them always shown in Pinned bellow.

I just found that 'Pin it' is missing in the right-click menu, to be fixed as: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=16446

EDIT: Just found that right-click > Sent to > Pinned works.
Another workaround seems to use drag & drop to Pinned node in the media tree.

Is it possible to change the default number of Artists and Albums on the Home Screen?
