Hi
Also if you in MMA go to UPnP then I guess it fails to show MM5 server in the list ?
In MMA options, under "Select sync server" it says: "Sync Server: MediaMonkey Library (ACER-SWIFT-BBT)" - this is the correct MM5 server.
However, on attempting to Sync, MMA is unable to connect to the server. The Sync attempt takes less than a minute.
My current work-around is to click on "Select Sync Server" and wait 5 minutes for MMA to find the MM5 MediaMonkey Library server again. It takes ages, but it does eventually find it, connect - and then I am able to sync. But only once. After that MMA is again unable to connect.
The problem is not with finding the server (though this takes a long time), it is with connecting.
I suppose that also other apps on Android (e.g. BubbleUPnP) don't see the MM5 server?
The MM5 server shows up in Windows Explorer.
I don't use any other media/network apps on my phone, but I installed BubbleUPnP just to test and it does find and recognize the MediaMonkey Library.
Firewall rules are fine and MM5 is not blocked.
item 3 (disabled network discovery)...
Network discovery is enabled.
item 7 (network reset after Win10 update)...
I am reluctant at the moment to reset my network. Seems like it would be a bit inconvenient. My router is fairly new, and everything else works on it fine.
